Charmant Hiuchi is a friendly, local town owned ski area with a great, at home atmosphere.Their choice not to use their groomer on powder days combined with the often overwhelming snowfall makes for a fun day out.This place often ranks in the top for snowfall in a season. Snowbases often reach over 6 metres. That means it snows a lot. On fine days, the impressive veiws, well prepared pistes and backcountry options are also well worth the trip.
This place will have you feeling you have found the real Japan.
